While designing your new home, it is vital to consider all details from the lighting all the way down to the kitchen backsplash. Luckily you have an assigned professional design consultant when you are designing your home with us and they can be a great resource in helping you pick the right design features for your home making it easier for you. Before your design appointment, it's always a good idea to browse through our product catalog, so why not start on looking at finding the ideal kitchen backsplash? We've rounded up a few previous homes and the kitchen backsplashes chosen for them to give you the inspiration you need in selecting the perfect one. These kitchen backsplash ideas can become helpful for you as you can also see the other design elements chosen for each home and if they are similar to the style you prefer or don't.
- Bedroasians Grace Glossy Sabbia 4x12
This backsplash looks timeless to the overall living space as it's a beautiful neutral shade. The design style looks contemporary with a bold hue to the kitchen island, the unique pendant lighting above the kitchen island, and the white kitchen cabinets. If you're going for a classic look to your kitchen, pair this backsplash with white cabinets and use a trending color paint for the kitchen island that'll pop. You'll love the mix of trendy and timeless to your kitchen and living space.
- Emser Illumina Flare 12x12
This backsplash showcases a glossy appeal that adds something special to the kitchen that another backsplash tile just wouldn't create. The whole kitchen is kept neutral, which can seem daunting if you're someone who likes a splash of color, but the backsplash creates an interesting feature to the kitchen to prevent it from looking bland. This kind of backsplash can give your kitchen a more upscale and glam aesthetic depending on the hardware, cabinets, and lighting you decide on.
- Similar: Emser Intrigue Picket Gray 12x24 Mesh and Marazzi Candora Mini Arabesque-Vestal White Blend DE13 Polished Marble 12x12 Mesh
This is such a fun backsplash that adds dimension to any kitchen. We offer many other similar backsplashes as this particular one is not available anymore. Consider adding a unique backsplash that's in white or cream so the design speaks for itself and coordinates beautifully with the cabinets and flooring you choose. Pair with gold hardware to create a glam appeal or silver for a classic look.
- Gray, darker gray, and white are only available. Bedroasians Reine Gray Haze, Gentleman's Gray, White
We love what this backsplash adds into this kitchen space in a previous model home of ours. With quartz countertops, black and white cabinets, and flooring, the backsplash completes the modern farmhouse aesthetic and pulls it all together with the design. We offer two different gray shades and white that'll pair well with just about any cabinets you decide on. If you're wanting a modern farmhouse style like this kitchen, consider white cabinets or light wood stained ones and a more rustic-looking flooring.
- Emser Logic White Gloss Flat 3x6 Wall
This type of kitchen has been trending for some time now as it contains classic elements from subway tile to white countertops and cabinets. You can't really go wrong with choosing a white subway tile for your kitchen backsplash, especially if you want it to remain neutral and simple to add decor as the focal point to the space. It also looks beautiful paired with a colored cabinet, whether blue or green, so you don't have to necessarily have an all-white space. Subway tile is the classic type of tile that many people prefer to their home so that it never goes out of style and coordinates well with the design style of choice.
- Marazzi Classentino Marble Centurio Black CT34 Unpolished 2x3 Linear Hex
Look how stunning this backsplash is to this all-white kitchen! It truly becomes the focal point to the kitchen and the black cabinet hardware complements the backsplash. If you're looking for a more unique backsplash that'll stand out and make a stunning appearance, but is also modern, choose one like this to complete your kitchen. A black and white kitchen looks modern and fresh, making it easy to decorate and furnish your home as black and white pairs with just about anything. If you want to make it with a more farmhouse vibe, integrate some rustic shelving or charcuterie boards and flowers.
- Mosaic Bedrosians Cloe White 2.5x8
Our favorite model home kitchen is this one in our Sumac model home. The gloss creates a gorgeous shine behind the open shelving that draws your eyes in. The neutral colors to the kitchen are seen in the backsplash as the backsplash features a sort of ombre look with multiple shades throughout. If you're wanting to add a different tile to your backsplash, but don't want it to take center stage, this type of backsplash can be perfect. If you also choose open shelving you can feature this backsplash up the wall for a complete look you'll enjoy having in your home. Gold fixtures and hardware pair beautifully with this backsplash that an otherwise bronze or silver just doesn't do.
Another kitchen option is no backsplash. This is actually not that bizarre if you're going for a modern or minimalist approach. The countertops or the color of cabinets you choose can take the attention and become the focal point to the kitchen. As you can see from the photo above, without a backsplash creates a sleek and simple look to the space through the countertops and white cabinets. This is always an option if you don't prefer a backsplash of any kind.
