Yes, sometimes it's definitely necessary to buy a gift for them, especially if they've hinted for months, but for the most part, a free gift can be just as meaningful.

The only work she may do, is taking it out of the oven (if applicable).

Water the Plants around the House

Is your mom also a plant mom? If so, water all the real plants around your house for her. You can create a little ticket stub for 1-month of watering the plants around the house for her, giving her less work around the house. Organize or Redecorate the House for Her
