Considering building your new home and curious to know what questions are commonly asked to our designers? Ever wonder what our designers get asked by homebuyers the most when it comes to designing a home? When it comes to designing your home, there are a variety of questions that may flood your mind in order to make sure your home becomes your dream home. We thought that sharing these common questions and answers may help you make some of the important design decisions for your new home. We had a few of our designers answer them below. Check it out now! Enjoy!
"Granite is a naturally occurring stone which will give completely unique patterns/styles in your home. It is also porous which requires it to be sealed 1-2 times a year to prevent stains.
Quartz is a man-made engineered stone that is 90% quartz and 10 percent resin. This gives control over colors, styles, and patterns that will be more consistent. It is not porous for this reason, but it is a little bit more heat sensitive due to the resin used.
They are both equally durable so it is completely up to one's personal preference and style on what goes in their home."

"Items that are touched on a daily basis are usually items that you'll want to upgrade so they will last longer. Tall cabinets make the kitchen feel more luxurious, as well as having nice countertops. Think of the features to your home you might regret later on for not upgrading, and upgrade them when designing your new home."

"Some buyers wonder if they should find their favorite sink faucet with us vs. changing them out after they move in. I 100% think it is worth it to get it done right the first time. When they wait and purchase the same or similar faucet from a retailer they're actually not getting as good of a product for a few reasons: Our plumbing is Moen's Professional line - meaning there is more metal on the interior than plastic. We offer full suites (showerhead, bath faucets, tub fillers sink faucets) from the same line. Retailers simplify the design to get their price lower, such as decreasing the size of a long arched neck of a faucet. Plus, going with us means you've got a lifetime warranty!"
