With spring comes a sense of renewal with endless possibilities to update your life in many aspects, whether that's to your space through spring cleaning or decorating, changing up your personal routine, implementing a new meal plan to your diet, etc. We've been looking forward to redecorating our homes for spring and with that, we have a few simple spring decor tips catered to each room of your home so that you can make it feel and look fresh for the sunnier season. It's refreshing to swap out all the winter decor throughout your house and bring in brighter and natural elements to your space. Some of these integrate spring decor trends of 2022, while others are classic design elements that can be implemented every time spring rolls around.
Kitchen
Starting in the kitchen, swap out any clutter on your countertops and replace them with your most-used utensils and cutlery by organizing them in neutral vases, containers, and bowls. Section them into threes if there are more items, as this is pleasing to the eye and will look put together. This kitchen for example showcases a charcuterie board, a pitcher, and a vase filled with wooden spatulas in one corner, a tray with cooking oils and a charcuterie board near the oven, and containers with decor right beside them in the corner. This way, the kitchen looks clean and organized, while also being functional. Neutral colors and natural wood elements that you integrate onto the kitchen countertops bring a springtime feel to the space.
Living Room
The simplest way to add spring decor into your space is by placing the items onto any tabletop surface, whether that's a TV console, coffee table, or side table. Small seasonal decor items are generally less expensive and are easy to switch out, making them perfect for instantly updating your living space. Bring in succulents, pottery, coasters made from natural elements like marble and wood, and a freshly scented candle reminding you of picnics at the park surrounded by blossoming tulips to any of your tabletops in your living room. You can also opt for new pillows and throws for your couch and chairs that are lighter in color and lightweight in fabric with unique textures. Whichever decor you decide to add to your space, the feeling of spring will be created inside your home for a relaxing atmosphere.
Owner's Suite
Embrace spring and spruce up your bedroom with pottery, plants (or faux plants), vases, and candles on your bedroom dresser. Bring in a large potted plant to a corner of your bedroom like in this room and a reading chair with a pillow and throw in neutral or brighter shades. As you can see, there's a pattern in what type of decor creates a spring feel to a home, usually by adding in neutral or bright decor items like candles, pottery, and artwork, as well as adding a bit of nature through the use of plants to decorate any part of your space from floor to tabletop. This makes it pretty simple in giving your space the feeling of springtime.
Nursery
Once again, the perfect spot to add spring decor to a bedroom is on the dresser. Small decor items such as plants, vases, and figurines are easy to place onto the dresser to update the space. Bring in added light with a lamp in a metallic or clear appearance, making a sparkling and bright element to the room. A decor item that's ideal for any season, but can be added during spring to change things up is a mirror. Square and rectangular mirrors are classic and can bounce natural lighting into the room and make the space feel bigger.
Bedroom
Consider adding pops of color throughout your bedroom for a spring aesthetic. Easy ways to bring in color is through coorful items like lamps, candles, artwork, curtains, and pillows. Make sure they coordinate with the colors already in the room so that everything from the furniture to decor matches.
Bathroom
If you prefer to keep your counter space tidy and with limited items, change up what is already on your counter or add a tray for organization. A wooden tray becomes the base for placing your go-to essentials on and a plant or two. The easiest upgrade to your bathroom or even kitchen space that you may have seen on Tik Tok recently is replacing those plastic soap dispensers with a glass one. It's such a simple switch but makes quite a difference to the appearance of your space by elevating it a bit more. These light and natural elements will bring in the feeling of spring to any bathroom.
