Thankgiving Treat: Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys

Thankgiving Treat: Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys

November 15, 2021

Thanksgiving is almost here and what better way to prep than by creating a sweet treat to get into the festive spirit! Make some for now and then make them on the day of Thanksgiving as a mini treat alongside the classic pie being served. Trust us, you're going to want to make these a couple of times because they were so tasty. Making these is a fun activity for you and your kids, family, or friends! They're easy to make and only require a few ingredients to complete. If you love traditional chocolate-covered strawberries, you'll love these as well! Look at how quirky and cute they are. Showcase them on a charcuterie board with other Thanksgiving-themed finger food to create the ultimate display.

Items you'll need:

  • Strawberries
  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Milk Chocolate Chips
  • White Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  • Break pretzel sticks in half and stick the mini marshmallow to both
  • Melt milk chocolate and dip one side of the marshmallow in the chocolate
  • Place on side of strawberry about half way and hold until almost dry (repeat on other side)
  • Once dry, dip entire strawberry into the chocolate and set on wax paper
  • Place in fridge to dry
  • When dry, melt white chocolate and dip legs slightly in the chocolate to create the bones
  • Place in fridge to dry
  • Serve and enjoy!
