Your bedroom walls may be the last spot in your home to think about decorating, but they make such an important part of your entire home and shouldn't be overlooked. Adding decor of any sort to your bedroom walls can create a more cohesive design style to your room. There are so many different ways you can decorate your bedroom walls, so we've come up with a few to help get your creative mind going and create the bedroom of your dreams.
Placing up cubed shelving is a trending, yet classic way to spruce up your bedroom walls. These are especially cute in a kid's bedroom to put on display stuffed animals, toys, and other smaller decor items. We don't suggest putting them right above the bed in a kid's room just for safety purposes, but they work well in a corner of the room nearby.
Macrame
Make a statement to your bedroom by adding a large macrame art piece that'll also match the current decor of your room. It'll create an eye-catching appeal to the room and bring a boho feel. It'll especially feel unique if you find the macrame from a local artist instead of a mass manufacturer. Hang it above your bed or on its own to create the perfect accent in the room.
Bring in a feeling of serenity with a muted abstract art piece. The larger the better to exude a relaxing feel to your bedroom that'll remind you of artwork found in a spa or relaxing environment. This type of artwork can be very soothing to look at and calm the mind, making it an ideal wall decor item to help you feel comfortable in your bedroom.

An adorable idea for your kid's bedroom is adding cartoon wallpaper stickers to create a playful bedroom, especially if their bedroom doubles as a playroom for them. What's great about peel-and-stick wallpaper is that it's renter-friendly and also easy to remove when they get older. To prevent the bedroom from looking tacky, stick to more neutral hues for the stickers or the furniture so it's not too colorful and vibrant for your child to have a hard time falling asleep.
Art prints of any kind in a large size can make a great statement for your bedroom. If there is a wall in your bedroom that looks empty, place an art print that catches your eye to it. Make sure the color scheme of the print coordinates well with your furniture and decor.
Not wanting to add picture frames? Opt for artwork in metallic shapes similar to the ones above. They create a fun element to the bedroom that would've otherwise been missing. Organize a few right above your bed for a beautiful focal point and incorporate other metallic decor throughout your home, whether that be through candles, frames, lighting, or other artwork.
Black and white art prints complement just about any bedroom. Find a couple to place next to each other on an empty wall. These will elevate your room with their classy appeal.
Once again, abstract artwork creates a fun element to a bedroom, but two is better than one. Organize two abstract pieces next to each other. This brings a unified look to the room and makes it more interesting.
