Valentine's Day is coming up and what better way to celebrate than to make these cute heart-shaped rice krispies treats with your kids or loved ones?! Instead of looking up a whole new dessert recipe that can be complicated or require a bunch of ingredients, opt for the classic rice krispies and turning them into hearts. These treats are so simple to make and quite fun to decorate with, you can decorate them in many unique ways and make them for your family on Valentine's weekend. Serve them alongside a bowl of chocolates while watching a movie with your family or deliver them to your parents, these treats are well-liked among most people. 

To make this recipe even simpler like we did, we found a box kit from the Rice Krispies Brand specifically for making these heart-shaped ones for Valentines. In the box, it included everything but butter making it so easy to create these in a jiffy. 

Items you'll need: 

• 3 Tbsp. Butter
• 6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
• 1 Bag of Marshmallows 
• Pink and Red Food Gel 
• Sprinkles
• 1 Bag of White Chocolate Chips
• Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter

Instructions:

• Melt butter in a saucepan
• Mix in 4 cups of marshmallows until melted
• Add in 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
• Press onto wax paper on a cookie sheet or 9x13 pan
• Use the heart-shaped cookie cut-out and cut out heart shapes for each treat 
• Melt white chocolate and use a spoon to design on each cookie or dip cookie in chocolate
• Use food coloring gel and sprinkles to decorate each cookie 
• Enjoy!
